About the Author

Kevin Meyer has over thirty years of executive leadership, operations, engineering, and Lean transformation experience in the medical device, automotive lighting, and telecom photonics equipment industries.

He is currently partner and co-founder of Gemba Academy, which provides Lean and Six Sigma training videos to over 2,000 companies worldwide. He sits on the boards of two startup technology companies and works with other startups as a partner in SLO Seed Ventures.

Previously, Kevin was President of Specialty Silicone Fabricators, a contract manufacturer of silicone components for the medical device industry. He co-founded a contract manufacturing company, Agilonics, turned around a hyper-growth telecom photonics operation of Newport Corporation, and held various engineering and operations management positions at Abbott Laboratories and Sylvania.

Kevin has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and resides in Morro Bay, California
